Testimonials

From the get-go, she was inquisitive, engaging, thorough, and professional. With a great sense of humor and amazingly driven work ethic, she pushed and challenged me to improve as a writer in ways I had never considered. Her personality is approachable, kind, patient, and better still: she genuinely cares about the author's vision. Towards those ends, she has an amazing eye for detail and is laser-focused towards the goal of developing a story to its fullest potential.

J.S. CRAIGAuthor, The Chronicles of Benjamin Bright

Katrina is a wonder to work with. She is everything I am not as a writer–organized, thorough, and she has an excellent eye for helping a writer enhance their work without interfering with the writer's style. Quick to respond and she is not finished until you feel satisfied. She plotted my book chapter by chapter, helping me organize, simplify, and strengthen plots, themes, and characters. I won't even go into the effort she had on her hands straightening out my character POV and grammatic tense issues!
I highly recommend Katrina as your next editor. You will be ecstatic with your decision.

G.L. CrambIndie Fantasy author, Maegics Heirs series

It's been five years since I wrote my first (and last) book. Stuck isn't a strong enough adjective for the state I was in. Deciding to try a writing coach was a great decision, but choosing Kat made it the best thing I've ever done. Step by step, word by word, she's been the motivating push I needed to break out of the blocks. Kat helped me start at the beginning, offering fresh perspectives, helpful input and suggestions, and a blueprint to keep me on track. She created signposts to help me track my progress, asked thoughtful questions to narrow down my ideas, and helped me craft a "just enough plot" structure to move forward with my story. I think I'm a good writer, but Kat helped me to KNOW that I can do it. Book Number Two is flowing, and I owe it all to my amazing coach.

Tabetha Hedrick

This is the first of many public shout-outs for my coach and editor, Katrina Schroeder. She continues to be a competent guide and friend through the scary, overwhelming process of writing and publishing a book. So glad I have her with me on this journey!
